Return & Exchange Policy
Returns Eligibility
If you are not happy with your purchase you can initiate a return if the item is eligible and within 7 days of item receipt. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. If 7 days have elapsed since item receipt, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund.
If you decide to cancel your order before your order has shipped, we can attempt to cancel your order and issue a refund. However, if your item has shipped, you will need to wait until your item is received and then go through the return item process described below to receive a refund. Generally, if we receive a cancellation request within 72 hours of order placement, we will be able to cancel the order and issue an immediate refund.
Exchanges Eligibility
Please note that we are only able to exchange items for a different color/size of the same item. If you desire a different item, please place a new order for the new item and return the original item for a refund if it is eligible. Exchanges must be initiated within 7 days of item receipt. We will not send the new item until we have received a tracking number for the item to be exchanged.
Initiating a Return or Exchange
To initiate a return or exchange please follow this link with your order number and email and follow the instructions. Once we receive a return or exchange request we will review and approve the return if it is eligible. If you believe you have received a defective item please include relevant images and a description of the issue. We will not provide refunds for clothing sizing issues until we receive the purchased item. For US customers, we will provide a shipping label to return item via USPS shipping. Instructions for receiving the shipping label and return shipping will be provided once the return is approved. Once we receive the returned item, we will process the refund. Please note that we will deduct a shipping fee of $6 from the refunded amount.
For International customers, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Returns should be sent to:

Please provide a tracking number for your return shipment as we will not provide a refund until we receive return items.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Refunds for Longer than Expected Shipping Times
Shipping times for orders can typically take 3-5 weeks and depend on customer location and shipping address. Please review our shipping policies for further detail. We will not automatically issue a refund if an order is not received within the expected timeline. If an order is taking longer than what is expected in our shipping policies, it is customer responsibility to reach out to the shipping courier with tracking number information and inquire about order status. However, we will issue a refund for non-receipt of items if more than 90 days have elapsed since date of order. A shipment tracking number should be sent to you sometime after you order via email or text message, usually within a week. Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@fashionopolitan.com.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
